The D.E.L.F. programme: 10 weeks of exam preparation, in a small group of 6 women maximum, online.

DELF B1 and B2 exam session on 2 December 2026: enrolment open, 6 places

Is this programme right for you?

It prepares you for the exam, not for reaching the level. That is why we check your level together before you enrol.

It is for you if

  • you are a graduate and already have your target level (A2, B1 or B2), or you are very close to it
  • your plans in France (residence permit, citizenship, studies, work) require a certified level
  • you have an exam date in mind and want to pass the first time
  • you can set aside two 1.5-hour sessions a week, plus some personal work

It is not for you if

  • you are a beginner, or you first want to improve your general French
  • you are preparing for the TCF or TEF: this programme is built for the DELF
  • you cannot commit regularly for 10 weeks

My D.E.L.F. method

Four stages, from your first assessment to exam day.

At the start

Diagnosis

Pinpoint what is really holding you back with a precise assessment of your current level.

During group sessions

Exercises

Master the language structures and the method specific to the DELF and your target level (A2, B1 or B2).

Between sessions

Lab

Write and speak regularly at a steady pace, and get detailed feedback on every piece within 48 hours.

The final weeks

Final rehearsal

Practise with mock exams in real conditions and walk into exam day knowing you are ready.

In 10 weeks, you go from dreading the examiner to the confidence of a candidate who is ready.

Your teacher

I’m Souad Sedjai. Originally from Paris and a graduate of Sorbonne Nouvelle University, I teach French as a Foreign Language to adults.

I have prepared more than forty candidates for the DELF: students, managers, researchers, expats. Each with her own story, pace and blocks. My job is to spot those blocks early and build the preparation around them.

Learning languages is one of my passions. I know what it takes to learn a language, not only to teach one.

How to join the group

Three simple steps. You only commit when you enrol, and the Peace of Mind Guarantee still protects you after that.

  1. DELF Project call

20 minutes, free. We talk about your plans, your level and your exam date.

  2. Level check

We check together that you have your target level. If you don’t, I will tell you honestly.

  3. Enrolment

You book your place in the group, limited to 6 women.

Your questions

Which level should I take, and do I already have that level?

This is the first thing we check together. Sitting the DELF without really having the level means risking a pointless failure. The programme is not about reaching the level: it is about passing the exam once you have it. During the call and the level check, we choose your target level based on your real level and what your plans require.

Why the DELF rather than the TCF or TEF?

The DELF is an official diploma from the French Ministry of Education and it is valid for life. TCF and TEF certificates have a limited validity: if your application requires them again later, you have to retake them.

How does the exam work, and how is it marked?

Four papers: listening, reading, writing and speaking. Each is marked out of 25 and carries the same weight. To pass, you need at least 50 out of 100, with a minimum of 5 out of 25 in each paper.

Which part is the hardest?

Often the writing. Many candidates are comfortable speaking thanks to daily life in France, and neglect the written paper. Expectations also rise with the level: at B1, you must give and justify your opinion, describe an experience and explain a plan. At B2, you need a clear structure, in writing and speaking, with justified arguments backed by examples.

What if I fail?

You can register for a later session. But with the DELF, you retake all four papers: scores are not carried over from one session to the next. That is why we prepare all four with the same care, so you pass the first time.

Is the exam registration included?

No. You register directly with an approved exam centre, which sets its own fees and deadlines. We check those dates together on the first call, so you don’t miss your target session.

How much does the programme cost?

The fee is presented during the DELF Project call, once we have checked together that the programme suits you. Payment in two instalments is possible, and the Peace of Mind Guarantee applies to the first session.

Your exam date is getting closer. Let’s talk about your DELF plans.
